Sulfate Allergies
I decided to write a page to help others like myself who suffer from allergies to sulfates. I want to list off all the products that I use that are safe for me and let you know what I think of them. I also want to share some hidden dangers and which products to pay close attention to.
This is a work in progress so please feel free to add your own comments and suggestions to this page. I am not a medical doctor and I can not tell you if you are allergic or not. But, I can share with you what works for me.

I have allergies to sulfites and sulfates. Do you ever have problems with cleaners that places are using? I have been to our local hospital and had an allergic reaction and to two different resturants and had reactions. At one resturant I got very sick with my throat swelling. I have cut out all foods and bathing products with any kind of sulfite or sulfate and this has helped until I screw up and eat the wrong thing!! I have been using the Purex laundry products now and they do not contain any kind of sulfate/sulfite. Thank goodness for Whole Foods and Burt’s Bees.
