“She’ll make you sit on your hands!”

On occasion, the girls get pretty physical with each other.  They will push, punch and slap if they get angry enough.  A while back, The Tyrant was getting really rough with The Show while they were in the back seat.  They had been fighting for hours and it had turned to The Tyrant hitting The Show and The Show hitting back.  I had asked them twice to stop and I was running out of ideas.

Finally, I said “Alright, I have had enough, sit on your hands both of you.  If you can’t keep your hands to yourselves, you will sit on them to remind you not to hit.”  They both did, but The Tyrant started to cry.  She cried hard for the entire time that she was required to sit on her hands.  It was roughly 3 minutes, but it may have been a little longer.

The other day, The Show and The Mother Hen were really squabbling.  Finally, when we were in the car, for an hour drive, it turned physical.  They started slapping each other.  I said, “Hands to yourselves!”  The Tyrant said, “You guys better do it or she will make you sit on your hands.  And it REALLY sucks!”

Also, update on my Change post.  Bear’s sister will be taking the job.  I am so excited for her!  Thanks for all your input!

In the car on Saturday, The Tyrant was singing and dancing and mimicking her sisters.  She was a non-stop gab-fest which is just the way I like her.  The Show was not amused.  She keep saying, “Jeez, will you just be quiet?”  The Tyrant would happily continue with her yaking without even taking notice to her sister.  A few times, she would even say, “Well, you don’t have to listen, I am not talking to you!” and stick out her tongue.  Finally, The Show had enough and said “Dad, can you please make her shut up, I have a headache!”  Bear just looked at her and said, “you know I remember this same conversation from your sister when you were that age.”  The Tyrant continued talking all the way home.

The next day, The Show was in a chatty mood.  When we got in the car, she just couldn’t stop talking.  The Tyrant, who got mercilessly jabbed at over talking the day before, decided it was her turn to complain.  She started with. “Jeez, will you ever shut up?”  And kept saying it ever try The Show opened her mouth.  Finally, she said “Jeez, you are so obnoxious!  Dad, make her be quiet, I have a headache!”  And at that point, I knew for sure, we had come full circle.

Tricia at Shout Daily, tagged me with a tell all, bare your soul kind of thing.  (Personally, I think she is cheating! 😉 ) I am suppose to tell you 7 things about me and then tag 7 other victims.. er.. bloggers to do the same.

1.  Before I became a professional computer dork, I wanted to write for a living.

2. I wore glasses as a kid that were way to big for my face.  I was, and still am, extremely tiny and they just didn’t make glasses small enough.  I was picked on ruthlessly and I still can’t wear my glasses in public.  I wear contacts instead.

3. I use to weight 206 lbs and I am not down to 117 lbs.  I still sometimes think I am too big to wear certain things.

4. I never set out to be a “WickedStep Mom,” and it still sometimes scares the hell out of me.

5. I love coffee, Slurpees and Ben & Jerry’s.

6. I have allergies to preservatives in food  which makes grocery shopping and eating out really hard.

7. I would lose my mind if I could not text message from my cell phone.

Here is my list:

1. NotesfromTheSleepDeprived

2. Stepping Over Junk

3. Constant Life Change

4. Bill at BillandJill.com

5. Jill at BillandJill.com

6. ShamelesslySassy

7. Full Time in New Mexico

P.S. I know I cheated but I was trying to tag people that haven’t been tagged yet.
